Great shirt by Kahala, I believe this is from the Bishop Museum gift shop from 1989
The design is batik style depictions of the museum with lettering and palm. It is probably
commemorating the centennial of the museum, I can't think of any other reason why
they would bother including 1889 in the date otherwise. This shirt is in very good shape
and if you collect aloha fashions, consider that there cannot have been too many of these
sold from a single location like that, so there aren't that many of these floating around out there.
