"FLORIDA TURNPIKE TOLLTAKERS VINTAGE SHIRT"

RARE AND COLLECTABLE!

This is an authentic tolltaker's shirt from the Florida Turnpike in
absolutely pristine condition! The print has postcards and scenic
places along the famous route, major cities, and named intersections
like "Yeehaw Junction" and "Alligator Alley". But what really pins this
down historically (pardon the pun) is the strange looking strip of fabric
above the pocket (see pics). I originally thought this was a strap to
secure sunglasses, but it is sewn securely in place. What it is, in fact,
is where the official tolltaker badge was pinned, and there are two
round areas that have been reinforced with extra thread for durability
around the pinholes... but this shirt shows no signs of ever
being pinned. Okay Floridians, here is YOUR shirt!
