upon a famous series of artworks by the immortal Eugene Savage. During
The early part of the 20th century, Eugene Savage became known for his
larger
murals during his lifetime, but now he is known as the artist who made
the covers
for the menus of the Lurline Cruise ships. You see the only way at that
time to get
to Hawaii was still by ship, and the wealthy would collect these menus.
I have a few
myself. Then the shipline would have a shop selling shirts with the
same Savage
prints at the dock, and this shirt is a reproduction based upon those
shirts.
Size = Mens Large. Vintage Shirt #00623, 100% Rayon
Machine wash cold, 2 hole MOTHER-OF-PEARL buttons, no faults or blems
I could find.
