HAWAIIAN SHIRT BY ELSIE KRASSAS"
This
is an excelent shirt from a private designer of some note!
Elsie Krassas
worked as a designer and made some of the nicest aloha apparel from
the end
of World War II until the 1970s. This particular example is in crepe
fabric, and
is a rare men's shirt (seems there were more dresses made from this
print,
and few shirts). I would date this to the 1960s and possibly earlier
based upon
the label. Large, pointy collars, internal lipped pocket and stunning
asian print.
